Project Noah Android app

Project Noah, a joint venture with National Geographic, is the leading community for wildlife exploration and education. They enlisted us to create a new Android tablet app for an educational platform developed by Amplify, a News Corporation subsidiary.

Realizing that Project Noah’s true value was in its collected content—over a million geo-tagged wildlife photos contributed by more than 250 thousand community members across the globe—we reimagined the app prioritizing content over decoration.

Our challenge was to translate Project Noah’s existing experience into a tablet form factor while introducing a digital classroom feature set. We designed, developed, tested and shipped the app to Amplify in just six months.

The app has been preinstalled on the new Amplify tablet, designed by Intel Education, and is available to K-12 classrooms across the country.
