Designing a logo for a photo service that keeps you close to your loved ones
When the team at Kicksend was ready to relaunch their product, they hired SFCD to redesign their logo. The goal was to convey that the product was more than just a file sharing app. It was a powerful way to connect to the people who matter most, through photos.
With a growing international audience, Kicksend didn't want to be thought of as just another social sharing app, so we ditched all the tech-heavy and photo-focused ideas and narrowed our exploration down to concepts that would communicate our client's brand values most precisely. The final deliverables included the logo mark, the type mark set in VAG Rounded, and the monochrome pictogram.
